Good morning from a brighter and less windy Pembrokeshire. I hope everyone has been ok in these recent storms. It has not been at all pleasant here, and a few roofs have lifted here and there, but no severe damage. I am just glad to have a quiet house back - the noise from the wind was like jet planes 24/7.
I have been productive in my craft room in the past week - with some more of the Journal Petite course completed (mark making with paint) and the Memory Book finished from our Papercraft Group. We did not have our usual Tuesday morning meeting yesterday, as sadly our tutor was not feeling well. I was still determined to have my day off from housework and book designing, but actually ended up doing a job in the house that had been waiting for a while (cleaning the laundry room) and then got involved in some computer stuff for a new website. It was a day well spent.
On my crafty table you can see the plastic tray that I am using to keep my Journal Petite 'pages' in, and the finished Memory Book (which has photos of the farm, Pembrokeshire and flowers in it).
This week I need to get some Thank You cards made for my recent birthday, and start on attempting to crochet. Otherwise, I am not starting a new project until Journal Petite is complete (there are at least 20 more videos to watch). I hate having lots of unfinished projects lying around. It is a bit like decluttering the house; I struggle to focus when surrounded by anything that is not essential.
