Good morning from a damp Pembrokeshire. I left some washing out on the line last night, as only an early morning mist was forecast. At least it is only cleaning cloths, but I will rescue them soon and get them on my heated airer.
I am also desperately keeping my iPad and phone charged, as we have a power cut from 9.30 am to 2.30 pm. I am going out (to do some errands, go to the library for the first time in years and treat myself to a lunch out) to avoid spending time in the house thinking of things to do and then remembering I need electric for them!
I must go and get my car out of the garage shortly (it has an electric door!).
Absolutely nothing to show in my craft room this week for What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday (click HERE to join in). I went shopping on Monday to my favourite local town, Narberth - and got birthday pressies and cards (totally lost my cardmaking energy at the moment) for my mum and older sister. That is what is sitting on my craft table waiting to be wrapped, so I can post them today.
Any creative time has been on the computer. Been watching YouTube videos and reading blogs about publishing on Amazon KDP for a while, and made a promise that I would get my first notebook published this week. I clicked on Publish yesterday (and for a hardback version too) and now waiting for them to review it. Exciting! Got so many design ideas (for covers and the internals) in my head, so in the coming months my shop will be growing considerably.
Edited to Add - My first notebooks are now live on Amazon. Click HERE to see my Author page (yes, I am a 'published author'!)
Here is my first cover. Cute!
Our usual Tuesday Papercraft Group was not held this week, but I have my fortnightly Friday class in Haverfordwest this week. I have had been having another Craft Room ClearOut and already sold a lot of needle felting kits/stash. Basically anything that I am not super-excited about is going - to make my 'cubes' less crowded. Still got a needle felting advent calendar, a floral latch hook rug kit and a couple of books available.
My eldest granddaughter started her ballet lessons last Saturday. She loved it. I really enjoyed watching too!
Hubby is away cycling from Fishguard to London (as you do!). The house is quiet and tidy, but he is definitely missed.
Back next week with some actual crafting to show off - and perhaps even hard copies of my notebooks (I will be stroking them!).
